Leaping Thoughts about Truth

Good Morning Beloved,

The sun is shinning in through the window on this cool day after Christmas..  Bringing with it hope for a new day.   As I sat this morning waking up thoughts were popping through my head and I am going to share them with you , may be jumbled up a bit but please stay with me as I tell you about my journey in thoughts.  Well, here goes!
I was thinking about first impressions.  How we meet people and instantly we judged them.  And right on the tail of that thought, Matthew 7:1 came into mind... " Judge not, that ye be not judged".
O' how many times have I judged on the first impression.. Everyday I have to ask for forgiveness for something I have thought.
Then I made the leap ( in my thoughts)  to ;   we are all the same in the way we are conceived.
It takes a male sperm and female egg to make a baby, doesn't matter if it is in a test tube or the womb.   It still takes a man and woman to make the baby.  So we all start out the same but we don't all end up in the same place.  We all get to make choices though , all of us make choices.  No matter where we come from or how rich or poor, smart or not smart , we all make choices..
Every nation on this planet has heard about Jesus Christ and it is up to that nation to make choices.. The people of these nations have  choices to make too.
Let's take another leap in my thoughts.
We can argue and argue but truth is truth no matter how you try to spin it...  Just like in Math,
2+2 = 4  not  5. We cannot change the truth.  The truth is God and Jesus and Holy Spirit are one and the same.. John 1:1   God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for you so you could spend eternity in heaven with Him. It is so simple...  So, here is my last thought.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart?  All you have to do is ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and believe that He has.  Then a change will happen and you will want to be closer to Him and you will change .  It is so simple and yet we make it so difficult..  It is as simple as this:
Jesus loves you and He wants to be a part of your everyday life.  I hope you make this decision soon because the truth is Jesus is coming back soon and you don't want to miss it...
I love you all and really would like to see you make a decision you won't regret..

What Does Christmas Mean To You?

Merry Christmas !!!

Hello Beloved,

Today I received a text from my granddaughter wishing me a Merry Christmas Eve, Eve, so that is what I am wishing you today!
I stopped by to see a friend of mine this morning and her granddaughter was there.... She told me what she had planned for her family this Christmas and to my surprise tears fell from my eyes and I had to get up and come home.... I came home and had a message on my telephone and it was about two woman from our church who had been taken and admitted to the hospital.  So many emotions went through me... I knelt down and prayed and while praying it came to me.  " What does Christmas mean to you?
Well, this is what Christmas means to me....
It is not about presents under the tree, or food we eat, or the lights, or the carols or any of the things
of Christmas. To me it is about caring and sharing with those you love.  I think back on Christmas and I see my brother taking the " wrap" for me when I was the one who had unwrapped all the presents under the tree or my sister working in a bait shop ( she hated worms!) and spending her money on me a baby doll ( which I still have!) or my nieces and nephew and I sitting in the floor telling silly stories.  I cant tell you what many gifts I received but I can still see the faces of the ones I shared the day with... I love those faces.... I miss those faces.... My mama and daddy and all of my sisters ( I was blessed with THREE!! ) my brother and brother in law.  O' how I miss those days.
Now I have my own grandchildren, two , a boy and a girl... I love them so much and love to see
the face of them on Christmas .   I can not wait till that day when we will all be together....
I went to a play at church last night and it was a wonderful play.... All the little ones told the story of
Mary and Joseph and the birth of Christ.... They sang and danced and were so sweet and joyous.
No one got to open a present but everyone got a present.... it was the present of love and friendship and memories... I love Christmas without all the fuss and muss just family  loving on family.
Who is our family, you ask.  Well, who do you share your time with at Christmas?  That is your family.
My friend's granddaughter , what is she giving for Christmas this year?   A letter telling those who are important to her what they really mean to her... I love that... I did that for my daddy and when he passed , we found that letter in his wallet... It meant something to him.
Christmas means to me...... love, family, sharing our time together, telling those you love what they mean to you..
So my gift to you this year is the gift of love and friendship.  You mean the world to me...God Bless each of you .

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!!
