History Lesson : Are you ready for this?

Good Morning Beloved,

Are you up for a history lesson today?  I hope so this one is going to be very interesting.  I have been reading a booklet called " The United States and Great Britain in Prophecy by John H. Ogwyn , a friend loaned me the booklet.  It goes through the history of Israel and brings it up to date.
I won't go through all of it but I do want to point out some interesting facts.... The Bible is a great book to read and try to understand.... It is full of historical facts that you can find also in secular history books...  It is a book that has been proven over and over..
God made a promise to King David through the prophet Nathan.  It is in
2 Samuel 7: 12-16.  PLEASE read this for yourself..   It is about how the house of David and the kingdom  will be forever established.  The last descendant of King David to sit upon the throne was King Zedekiah.. In 586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon took King Zedekiah captive , burned the Temple, destroyed the city of Jerusalem.. In 2 Kings 25:  you can read this for yourself... They killed the sons of Zedekiah and put out his eyes..
So, like the booklet asks: Did the promise to David fail?   NO.  Now please go and read Ezekiel 17, pay attention to v. 22 and 23.  Now , the top branch was Zedekiah and the twig would be one of his children.  We have seen that the sons of Zedekiah were killed BUT, it says a tender branch,,, Zedekiah's daughters. ( a high mountain is used in Bible prophecy to symbolize a nation) .  So this would show that the daughter would marry and produce off springs and that the dynasty would continue.
Irish history records the rest of the story..... It tells of the prophet Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch coming to Ireland after the fall of Judah with a young princess and the coronation stone, called in Gaelic lia fail. In the  ancient Irish records , the princess was named Tea Tephi. Now you can read the rest of the story here.....http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cnoelldunc/
Ancient/Tea/Al.htm   Let me know what you think!
Smile: it is a free gift from God to share with all you meet.
God Bless.  tenderly, your sister in Christ Jesus, vickie
