Good Morning Beloved,
I have been listening to Pastor Kenneth E. Hagin a lot lately. He was a powerful man of God. You can find videos of his teachings online. I have just watched one on prayer, and I want to share that with you.
Do you ever struggle with prayer? I do. Do you ever wonder if there is a right and wrong way to pray? I do. Well, after listening to this man, Kenneth Hagin, I feel like I can now pray more effectively. I want to share what I have just listened to and learned from him.
In Luke 11: 1 : The apostles ask Jesus to teach them to pray. In v. 2-4 is what we call " The Lord's prayer" . We all learned it as children and how to say it as a prayer, right? Well. according to Pastor Hagin it is not a prayer we should pray. It was for the disciple's of Christ Jesus. Why? Because it was not a New Testament prayer. Now this is where we start to learn and see what Pastor was talking about. Ready?
In the book of John's Gospel chapter 16: 23-24 KJV ( I hope you will get out your Bible and read along) It says that we ( you and me) are to ask the Father ( God) in my ( Jesus Christ) name. v.24 the first word in the verse is Hitherto, ( Strong Concordance # 2193 & 793 means just now) So when we know the meaning of the word it tells us that until now you have ask nothing in my name. So when we pray we are to pray to God the Father and ask in the name of Jesus Christ . There was so much more in this video but here are some of the scriptures Pastor Hagin used.
Philippians 4:6 " prayer and supplication ( earnest) with thanksgiving."
Hebrews 13:15 " sacrifice of praise continually with the fruit of our lips"
1 Timothy 2:8 " lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting "
So, we are to pray to the Father not to Jesus but we are to pray in Jesus name. In Acts 4:23 Peter went to his own company ( people of like faith) then Mark 11: 24-25 Believe when you pray that you have received and forgive all ( little things can hinder your prayers) things and praise Him for the answer. Depend on the Holy Ghost and pray in the Holy Ghost and tongues to build yourself up so you can build up others.
It was truly a eye opener for me. I thought I knew how to pray but now I will pray more effectively. Smile you are dressed in your best when you do.

Healing and the Cross: The Full Gospel
Hello Beloved,
Are you in need of healing in your life? Did you know that it is yours for the asking? Have you ever said, I have asked and prayed for but have not got the answer you ask for? Well, how did you ask?
Did you ask the way the Word of God said to ask? Healing is still real and it is still available just like it was in the time of Christ and the Apostles. If you are not hearing this in church then get out your Bible and study on your own. " Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today , and forever" ( Hebrews 13:8 )
Do you know what hinders you from receiving your healing? This is what my pastor teaches. 1.) Ignorance of Bible truths. 2.) Lack of action, confession. 3,) Do not be moved by your feelings, BUT
believe in your heart without wavering. 4.) Believe the Word of God. Know God's Word, believe in your heart, confess with your mouth and act on it. It is YOUR faith that works.
So, how big is your faith? Is it as big as the Titanic or a Cruise ship?
You received your healing on the Cross just like you received salvation. The Blood of Jesus Christ was shed for forgiveness of sins and the stripes that Christ received was for your healing. This all took place on the Cross at Calvary. Read Matthew 4:23 " Jesus went out all Galilee teaching, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and disease." This is the FULL Gospel Look at Matthew 9:35 Every sickness and disease was taken care of at the Cross.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved. It has already been done for you on the cross. Now , it is up to you to put your faith into action. BELIEVE.
In Matthew 13:31-32 ; faith like a grain of a mustard seed. Luke 11:9 : Ask you will receive, seek you will find and knock and it will be open unto you. Study the scriptures for yourself and talk to God like He is your friend. He loves you... It is all up to you and how much faith you have.
Smile: you are dressed best when you do. In the love of Christ Jesus

Quit Blaming God !
Good Morning Beloved,
Sunshine today!!!!!!!!
Have you ever wondered or heard it said ' Why does God let bad things happen? 'Or have you ever
heard it said, ' God did this." ? Why are people so quick to blame God for ALL the bad that happens,
but, NOT give Him glory for all he good that happens? Where are these bad thoughts and doings coming from? Why is it so easy to fall into these trappings?
Let's first look at the beginning. Genesis 2:7 " And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. v.8) " And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden and put there the man whom He had formed. v. 15) And the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. v.18-25) it tells how the Lord God made a help mate for man from his ribs and the two became one flesh. So, from Genesis 2 we see that the Lord God made man and gave him authority over the whole earth. Genesis 3:1-24. We see here that man fell because he disobeyed the one command of the Lord God. NOT to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Why? Because then they would die. They ( woman and man) listened to the serpent ( the devil, the father of lies) and ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and that is where the authority that had been given to man by the Lord God was handed over to the serpent( the devil, father of lies). So man was no longer in charge, the serpent was. Genesis 3:22-23 " The Lord God said " Behold the man is become as one of us to know good and evil; and now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: v.23 ) Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken." You can not go backward-- you have to now go to the cross. Man did this not God. So when bad things happen and you want to blame someone -- blame the serpent. He is the one in charge here now because man gave him the authority,
When Christ Jesus died on the cross for your sins and you invite Him into your heart then you put Christ Jesus back in charge . Now you just have to have faith and believe in Him and obey the Word. It is just that simple.. If you want to invite Jesus Christ into your heart just talk to Him and repent of your sins.. If you need help I am here.

Final Destination
Good Morning Beloved,
What if today was your last day to live? What would you want to do? Would you want to
go out and live it up? Get married? Divorced? Money to blow on expensive things? Car? House? Clothes? Go to a exotic place? Or maybe you might want to repair a relationship? Right a wrong? Maybe you would want to spend time with your loved ones for a last hug and goodbye?
Have you thought about where your final destination will be? Heaven or Hell? Do you think that it is important to know before hand where your final destination will be?
If you are not sure , why not make that decision today, so you can be certain of where you will go?
It is easy and only take a few minutes.. It is really so easy to do.. All you have to do is repent.
repent: to be sorry; to turn back; to regret; to reconsider
Just ask the Lord God to come into your heart. Tell Him you are sorry and ask Him to forgive you of all of your sins and that you want to change . Then peace like you have never known will come into your heart . Let today be the day of knowing where your final destination is going to be..
God is Love and in John 3:16 it says He so loved the world that whosoever.... make today the day you become the whosoever.. John 3:5 says " except you be born of the water and the Spirit, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God.. Where do you want to spend your final destination at? Heaven or Lake of Fire? It is your choice, and by not choosing , you have chosen. Please make your choice today!!

Are You On Your Way To Heaven?
Good Morning Beloved,
Are you on your way to heaven? Can just anyone go? What are the qualifications? Let's take a look in scriptures to see the answers. Yes, anyone can go IF they do what the Word of God says. Look at Matthew 7: 13-14: "Enter ye at the strait gate: for wide is the gate , and broad is the way , that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: v.14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Now, lets take a look at John 3:1-21: v. 3: " Verily, verily, ( double truth) I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God." v. 5: Verily, verily, ( double truth) I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." So, we have here the qualifications to enter into heaven, which is the kingdom of God. You need to walk through a narrow gate and be born again of water ( baptized) and of the Spirit ( Holy Spirit). Acts 2:38; Repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." How often should one repent of their sins? Well, lets see what the Apostle Paul said in
1 Corinthians 15:31: " I die daily"
Time is upon us now to do the works of the Lord .. If you have been baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit and have fallen away from the Lord God then NOW is your chance to reconfirm your commitment to God. If you are a backslider or a causal Christian, please make a re commitment to follow Our Lord Jesus Christ today. Repent of your sins and be filled with the Holy Spirit, get out of the world and self and make your calling sure.( 1 Peter 1:10) DO NOT WAIT !!! " But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angles which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." Mark 13:32 DO NOT WAIT …. Recommit NOW.

New Jerusalem. How Far is 1500 miles?
Good Morning Beloved,
Not sure if anyone will even read this but here goes, How big will the city of New Jerusalem be?
In Revelation 21:16 ( NASB) says it is laid out in a square, width, height, and length at about 1500 miles. The NIV says about 1400 miles .. I say that either way that is going to be a GREAT city!! So , I wanted to find out how big that city was in something I could understand. So got out a map and started in Indianapolis and went Saltillo, , Mexico ( appox) 1515 miles and from Indianapolis to Reynosa , Mexico (appx)1400 miles ( 1328.8) Now you must remember this is going to be ONE Great city.
It will be 1400/1500, miles deep, wide and high. Don't know about you but that is something I find hard to wrap my mind around.. How many people are in this area today? How many states are involved and ANOTHER country? It just boggled my poor itty bitty mind. So just wanted to have someone else thinking about it today too. Thanks for reading!!( if anyone ever does)
Jesus Christ is going to be coming soon. How soon ? For some it could be today, It is all in His time now ours. We are just to be ready when ever He comes.. So please make your calling sure TODAY! Words Are Powerful
Good Morning Beloved,
Powerful is the words we speak, do you agree?
"out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Matthew 12:34'
Do you know you can speak life or death into your own body? That when you say something
like " I am getting the flu" or I am sick with cold, sore throat, infection, or whatever; you have
established the enemy's word instead of God's Word.
1 Peter 2:24 ( KJV) " Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness : by whose strips ye (you) WERE healed." Not going to be healed but WERE healed. It took place on the cross 2000 years ago!!
Do you know that Satan is limited to what you say? The words you speak out of your own mouth!
So when you speak anything but God's Word you are establishing the enemy's word..
When you are asked to pray for someone , DO NOT pray your words but DO pray God's Words over them. Remember Matthew 13:34 " out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."
What you believe comes out of your mouth.
Look at 2 Corinthians 4:13 and then look up Proverbs 6:2.
You don't want to be sick or you would not ask for prayer, right? Well, just remember to speak God's
Word and not the enemy's. Speak life not death..
I am writing this to myself today.. I am reading a book by Charles Capp and it is called ' The Tongue, A creative force. and this is what I read this morning.
I am still in the learning stages of my walk with Christ Jesus and I am grateful for insights I get from reading the Word and listening to others who have been in this for a long time...

Psalm 23:1
Good Morning Beloved,
Have been pondering this verse; " THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD ". Have you ever wondered what a shepherd does? Well, I have being a city girl and all. ( smile) Here goes.....
A shepherd is a WATCHMAN. Watching out for the enemies of the sheep. He is also a GUARD, protecting his flock ( at the cost of his own). He is a GUIDE, guiding his flock to a safe place. He is a PHYSICIAN, taking care of the sick, lame and ailing members of his flock. The shepherd is also a SAVIOR. He rescues those sheep who are lost and hurting. He is a PROVIDER, He feeds his sheep and waters them, without him they cannot even feed themselves. He is also a LOVER, yes a lover of his sheep. He loves them so much he knows each one by name.
We have a shepherd too. The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us!!! He watches over us, He guards us from our enemies, He guides us into ALL truth. He is our GREAT physician,( are you sick? hurting? In need of a physician?) and He provides our every need. He is our Savior . He went to the cross and gave His life up for us. So,
yes, Yes, YES!!!!! THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD.

Want to Meet my Best Friend
Good Afternoon Beloved,
I want to tell you about a man I have met. He is so totally awesome!!!! I met Him through some letters I was reading. He is so sweet and tender and loving and just plain amazing! Through the letters I got to know about Him and His likes and dislikes and read about some amazing things that He had done. I learn that once you become friends with Him, you just start to glow from the inside. When He says that He loves you, He really means that He loves you!!
I am finding out He can be many things to me; like a Father, and Brother and very Best Friend. I have come to love Him so much and I just don't want to disappoint Him.
I guess by now you are wondering just who I am talking about, and you probably want to meet Him too! Well alright I guess I can share Him with you because He has the capabilities of being in many places and loving many people all at one time.
Hello Friends, I would like to introduce to you my very Best Friend who is also my Father and Brother; please say Hello to Jesus Christ who happens to also be my Savior.. Would you like to know about Him? I will talk to you about Him anytime, anyplace. Just say the time.
I hope you will want to meet and talk with my Jesus Christ He is so totally awesome!!

Through the letters I got to know about Him and His likes and dislikes and read about some amazing things that He had done. I learn that once you become friends with Him, you just start to glow from the inside. When He says that He loves you, He really means that He loves you!!
I am finding out He can be many things to me; like a Father, and Brother and very Best Friend. I have come to love Him so much and I just don't want to disappoint Him.
I guess by now you are wondering just who I am talking about, and you probably want to meet Him too! Well alright I guess I can share Him with you because He has the capabilities of being in many places and loving many people all at one time.
Hello Friends, I would like to introduce to you my very Best Friend who is also my Father and Brother; please say Hello to Jesus Christ who happens to also be my Savior.. Would you like to know about Him? I will talk to you about Him anytime, anyplace. Just say the time.

Do you know that God will forgive you everything except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? DENYING the Truth. Why is it unforgivable? Because it's source is a heart of malice, selfish preference of wrong over right , r evil or good, and a willful refusal to believe. In Isaiah 5:20 " Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! " The only sin that God is unable to forgive, is the UN willingness to accept forgiveness.

This is a Face book post from 2/26/18. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16 . In Mark 16:15 . It is called the Great Commission ( an authorization to perform certain duties) So , this means as a person who believes in and has accepted Christ Jesus as Savior,
it is my authorized duty to tell you about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me.
Jesus Christ died on the cross and took all my sins, so I could have a personal relationship with Him. I asked for and received forgiveness of all my sins. I am covered by the Blood of the Lamb. On the cross Jesus said these words: " Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke: 23:34.
You too can ask for forgiveness of your sins it is simple and easy... Just talk to Go our Father in heaven and ask... it really is just that simple. In II Timothy 3: 1-5 , It talks about what will happen in the last days with the church, and it IS happening now.. Churches who have turned away from and ignore the Cross and the power of the Holy Spirit. Sin is sin even if you or someone else says it is not. God' Word tell us what is sin. If you are looking for TRUTH then find a good Bible like the KJV and read it for yourself. God's Word is the only Truth.
I believe in Heaven and Hell. I don't want you to go to hell because I did not tell you the truth. Jesus Christ died for your sins and He loves you and wants to spend eternity with you, but, He will not chose for you , you have to make the choice. So, today would you please talk to Him and ask Him to come and be your Savior? Hell is when you spend eternity without the Love of God. This is all true. If you need to confirm look for yourself. God is waiting on you. I really do love you.

Forgiveness
Good Morning Beloved,
On this wet morning I want to write about forgiveness. It is such an important part of our daily lives.
forgiveness: pardon, cancel, overlook . This is what forgiveness means.
Have you ever had to say I'm sorry to someone? Have you ever had to ask them for forgiveness ? When you have done a wrong and you don't try to make amends then you start feeling bad or guilty , correct? Well, we all need to be forgiven for the wrongs we have done.. Wrongs are sins. Sin is sin, even when we do it. We are all sinners. God shows and proves His love for us that while we were sinners, Christ died for us . ( Romans 5:8) Now, that is pretty important don't ya think? As a matter of fact in Luke 23:34 it says this" Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." So, if Christ can forgive us, then we should forgive others too.
Have you been hurt by someone and find it hard to forgive them? Have you had to live with the anger, bitterness and depression, anxiety and yes even hatred in your heart? I have and it takes a toll on you and everyone around you. It affects how you live day by day, and affects how you react to people around you. All of that anger, bitterness , depression, anxiety and hatred is SIN in capital letters. It was a awful , horrible way to live and I finally had to do something about it.. I had to go and ask God to forgive me and He showed me how to forgive those who had hurt me. It was a struggle at times but with the Love of God and His Word and forgiveness from the ones around me I am an over comer! Praise God!! Thank you Christ Jesus !! I had to forgive for myself, so I could move forward and finally the ones I had to forgive , they even ask me for forgiveness. That meant everything to me... We could put it in the past and move forward.
If someone has hurt you and you are finding it hard to let it go then why don't you ask God for help? Even if the ones who hurt you don't know , you will know and it will make life so much easier. Christ forgave us on the cross and how can we do anything less then forgive the ones who have hurt us? Sis is sin even if it just a little sin, big or little they will have the same punishment. It is not a good place we will go if we don't ask for that forgiveness..

My Personal Testimony
Good Afternoon Beloved,
This morning in church our pastor talked about what we are suppose to do as a church. Not a building but as a church body. How we are to go about letting people know what Christ Jesus has done for us, personally. Well, that is what I am going to do today in this post. One post will not really tell all the story but it will be a start .
I have been in search of who I am most of my life. As a child I went to Sunday School and heard all the bible stories. As a teen I went to church( mostly looking at the boys) Got married in my teens and started having my family. At age 22 I had my family. When I was 26 years old I went back to church and heard a sermon that changed my life. I went down and ask Jesus Christ into my heart and was baptized in water then. I went on trying to raise my family the best I could and somehow life just got in the way... It was not until I was in my late 40's that I became serious about my relationship with Christ Jesus .. I had be a back slider for a long time, like I said life just got in the way. BUT GOD. I have to Praise God for friends, real friends who cared not just for me as a person but for my eternal soul.
I was having trouble in my marriage and I wanted out, very badly I wanted out. My husband and sons were a mess as was I. My friend would come by and invite me to go with her to church but I did not want anything to do with church. I just wanted my life to change. I had been to church and my life was not all that.. She just would not leave me alone . I told her I would go one time and after that she had better leave me alone. She said OK, sure, we'll see. She knew something I didn't. Well, I did go with her to church one evening and that evening something happened inside of me.. I became alive again.. She knew this would happen, she told me later.
A few months later, I was getting ready for church and my husband said he would come with me.. He did and sat on the front row and something happened to him that morning and he went down and ask Christ Jesus into his heart and he was baptized in water that morning. This was a HUGE BIG DEAL!!!! From that moment on life has been different and has changed. Yes, we still have our ups and downs but how we deal with it is so different now.
It is about choosing how to live. With Christ Jesus in our life or with out Him. Without Christ in my life I was on the road to Hell.
I am so glad that Jesus came to live in my heart, I would be lost with out Him.

Random Thoughts Today
Good Morning Beloved,
It is cold outside but the sun is shinning and looks so pretty glistening on the snow. Onward.
I have so many things running through my mind today. January was kind of a hard month this year.. I missed a lot of church for one reason or another and I don't like not going to church. It is where I get fueled up for the rest of the week. Okay moving on....
I have been re reading a book by Johnathan Cahn called " The Mystery of the Shemitah" . I came across something in it today that I thought pretty cool. On page 250 it is titled YESHUA. It says
" How can one be safe in the days of judgment ? " The answer is that in Hebrew, the word for safety is yesha and also means salvation. Jesus Christ is our safety and salvation.. If you are living outside of Christ on judgment day then you have no safety or salvation.. Pretty scary if you ask me.. So, take time today to talk to God and ask Him to come into your heart and make yourself ready to stand before Christ on judgment day.
Here is another thought running in my head. In Luke 16:19-31 it tell about a rich man and poor man.
I don't know why preachers don't teach this.. It is so important.. I will just paraphrase it. Rich man had everything, food, clothes, home, and lived having a good time. While the poor man , Lazarus , had to beg for alms ( money, food) he was covered in sores and the dogs licked the sores. Now, Lazarus was carried by angels to the bosom of Abraham; the rich man was buried and in torment in Hades( place of the dead). Rich man looked up and saw father Abraham and Lazarus and cried out send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool my tongue. Abraham tells the rich man , you had your comforts and delights , and Lazarus had his discomforts and distresses , now Lazarus is being comforted and you are in anguish. The great chasm ( a deep crack in the earth's surface ; gorge, abyss) we can not come to you nor you to us. The rich man begged for Lazarus to go back and tell his brothers what it was like where he was.. Abraham told him they have Moses and the prophets to listen too . Rich man: But if someone from the dead were to go and tell them they will repent. Abraham: If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets they will not even listen to someone raised from the dead... Moral here. Heaven and Hell are both real places.. You will have all your senses in either place. If you want to be where Abraham and Lazarus are then you better listen to what Moses and the prophets were saying.. If you want to be like the rich man and be in that place of torment for eternity then go ahead and not listen to Moses and the prophets and do it you r way. Just remember this from 2 Peter 2:4 " God did not even spare the angels that sinned , but cast them into hell". Beloved, YOU HAVE TO BE BORN AGAIN . Take time today to start your relationship with Christ Jesus..
The fearful, unbelieving, abominable( to hate) murders, whore mongers ( pimps, pander) sorcerers( witchcraft) and idolaters ( putting anything before God) and ALL liars will join the devil and his demons in the Lake of fire and this will be the second death.
Beloved, please today talk with God and make your calling sure.

Answered Prayer
Hello Beloved,
This is a very personal note that I am writing tonight... Don't even think I will post it. It may sound like rambling but it will come clear by the end I hope.
I have suffered for many years with a terrible inferiority complex, depression what ever it is to be called. I grew up thinking of myself as the most unloved human on the planet. I have believed this all of my life. I would talk to myself and say what I thought others were thinking and in time it became so real for me... I started to believe all the lies I was telling myself. How I was stupid , ugly, not wanted, ect..... the list goes on and on , it is never ending.:
Now I will fast forward .... I went out week before last and spent some time with one of my sisters. It was so wonderful to see her.
Then the next day..... She got a text and it set the mood for the rest of my stay with her.
We talked about the text and I got on my " big mouth, know more than you know "box. I sprouted out and sprouted out when I should have just been a shoulder to cry on... But , Oh not me! I had to open my very big mouth and insert my big foot!! Needless to say the visit was not what I had hoped it would be..
Time to come home... Got home after a 13 hour car ride and part of that in a very dense fog.. Thought I was glad to be home but then I went to bed and could not sleep much. This went on all week long.. Then last night I could not sleep and my thinking had been way off all week and it just got worse in the night . I set up and thought ugly, ugly thoughts.. I even sat down and wrote out a note .. I just really hated who I was and all that I had down wrong in my life and just wanted to end it right then and there. I was all cried out and so, so tired... I still had enough presence of mind to not try anything so I laid down and still my mind was on full force .. no sleep . So I had no one to talk to and I talked to God. I talk to God a lot as I don't really have anyone else to talk to. People just don't seem to want to be friends in person anymore it is all about texting..
Well I talked to God and I ask Him why I could not be more like Him. Why am I the one who cant seem to be filled with the Spirit and pray in the Spirit? I just don't understand.. Long story short I did not go to church this morning.. I was still full of hate and hurt. Well I did go to church tonight and guess what it was about? Yep, It was about being filled with the Holy Spirt and how to go about it.. Just exactly what I had talked to God about.. Now I don't about you but I believe God answered my distressed prayer of last night tonight and that it pretty quick. The devil is not what is keeping me from being filled with the Holy Spirt but my flesh is. I sure have a long way to go.. Thank you Father God for answering my prayer.

Hello Beloved,
I am going to add to a earlier post ( Feb. 5, 2017) called Darkness v. Night. In this post I shared with you the meaning of " darkness and of night. I know I am not the only one who has ever felt this way.
Today in church our Pastor made a comment about what a fellow said in his testimony last week. It was on the word " suddenly". How all the sudden ly's we have experienced have had to take time, preparation, and effort to become our ' suddenly'. It is a process. ie.... a football player does not get to be the star player without time and effort put forth. It takes practice, practice, practice, it does not happen overnight. Our suddenly takes time too.... I know mine sure did.
I spent a lifetime beating myself up; to get to the place I was at 650' below the surface of the earth. I was always taking the wrong path in my thoughts.. I read something in a book of fiction that went something like this. God speaking; I don't wonder what you will do or what you will chose I already know... God knows how many times it will take to reach you or that you will hear Him. It may be 50 times but, it all starts with the first time and goes on until .... God says good we are almost there and then when you reach # 50 and you get it! Then you can start to build ... Honey, there is no freedom in guilt.
I always thought I was in control and could do what I wanted... My safe place was darkness. I knew what it felt like and there were no surprises.. I could opt out at any time. It would be my time and choice... BUT God.
At 650' below the surface I found my safe place in the darkness, a place I could not see in nor feel in. It was a place of NO HOPE, NO LIGHT, and NO GOD. When I look back on that time in the darkness of no hope , no light, no God I feel like I was in Hell. By God's grace I came back to the surface not only did I see natural light but I think for the first time I saw HOPE. I am on a new path now and it has the LIGHT on it every step of the way ... Christ Jesus is the LIGHT in this cruel and evil world we live in . I am so grateful that He is choosing to walk with me. I had a suddenly this morning when the Pastor spoke so briefly on the word.... suddenly.

How Are You Preparing For Your Future
Good Evening Beloved,
I have a question for you. How are you preparing for your future? Let's say you are still in school. Have you put much thought into what you want to do with your life after high school? Maybe your in college and you have just finished your degree, now what? Have you put any thought into that?
Okay, now you are married . Have you thought about your future? Now, you have kids , what about the future? Are you reaching the time of retirement? What about the future?
The future I am asking you about is not what you want to be or what your degree is in nor is it about marriage and children and retirement. The future I am asking you about is more eternal then that. When you are in school did you ever think about where you would spend eternity? It is probably the most important thought you could ever have. No, not probably but it IS the most important thought you will ever have..
Death will take us all sometime.. Maybe in school, or college, or it could be after we are married and maybe have some children.. It could happen just after we retire. It will happen to us all at some point. So, don't you think that knowing where you will spend eternity is pretty important? So , how are you preparing for your future ?
In Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us the Gospel. How Jesus Christ died on the cross , was buried and rose on the third day , that my beloved is the Gospel. John 3:16 we all know that verse., For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In John 14: 2, Jesus Christ tells you that in His Father's house are many mansions, and He is going to prepare a place for you. In John 3:3 ,5 it tells you what you have to do to prepare for that eternal future.. You have to be born again of the water and of the Spirit. So simple to do . So , how are you preparing for your future?
It is so simple to just ask Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of your life , Have you done that? If you have not and want to then just ask Jesus to come in to your heart. Maybe something like this....
Lord Jesus I am a sinner and I want to have you be the Lord and Savior of my life would you come in and fill me with your Spirit and guide me in to all truth ? I love you Jesus and I do believe you are the Christ. Thank you Amen
Pretty simple pray but oh....... your future is now planned and waiting for you.. This is the day the Lord hath made go and enjoy it .

Names Have Meaning: Part One
Good Morning Beloved,
Names have meaning and I looked up the names in the genealogy of Jesus Christ in Matthew and Luke.
Matthew 1:1-16 KJV
Abraham( father of many), Isaac ( laughter) , Jacob( supplanter), Judah ( praise), Phares ( breach), Esrom ( fenced/walled) , Aram ( highness, curse), Aminadab ( my kinsman), Naasson ( diviner), Salmon ( peace) Booz( swiftness), Obed,( servant, worshipper), Jesse ( gift) , David ( beloved--friend)_ Now David was the 14th generation from Abraham. Solomon ( peace), Roboam( the people are enlarged) , Abia ( God is my Father), Asa( physician), Josaphat (Yahweh has judged) , Joram ( Jehovah is exalted), Ozias ( strength from the Lord), Joatham ( the perfection of the Lord) , Achaz ( one that takes or possess) , Ezekias, ( God strengthens), Manasses ( cause to forget), Amon ( faithful- true), Josias ( may Jehovah heal), Jechonias ( one who Jehovah establishes) this was 14 generations from King David and this was about the time they were taken to Babylon. Salathiel ( asked / lent of God) , Zorobabel ( stranger at Babylon/ dispersion o confusion), Abiud( father of praise), Eliakim ( God will develop) Azor ( helper, a court) Sadoc ( just justified righteous) , Achim ( God will judge) Eliud( God is my praise), Eleazar ( God helps), Matthan ( gift of God), Jacob ( supplanter), Joseph ( he will add)( husband of Mary who was the mother of Jesus Christ. ) Jesus was the 14th generation from the time of Babylon.
I found this all interesting . When you are reading and see one of the names here then stop and put the meaning of the name in your mind of what is being said. It just makes the story so much richer . Or at least it does for me. I will do the names in Luke next time.

Romans Chapter One
Hello Beloved,
What is your mission / purpose in life? Well, are you a believer in Christ Jesus? Then your mission/purpose is to tell people everywhere ALL the great and wonderful things God has done for you. e
We are to encourage each other , pray for each other and we are not to be ashamed of all that God has done for us, nor should we be ashamed to tell others about it.
This Good News about God is to be shared with believers and non - believers . This Good News about God is what makes us get ready for heaven when we put our faith and trust in Christ Jesus to save us. How ? It is accomplished by faith.
Now, God also shows anger against sinful, evil men( human) who push the truth away from them. Truth about God is instinctive , God put the knowledge in their hearts. So there will be no excuse when they stand before God on judgment day.
They worship idols made by their own hands. Did things with their bodies that was unnatural . God gave them up to it because of their disobedience . Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness and sin. Greed and hate, envy, murder, fighting , lying, bitterness, and gossip. There were backbiters, haters of God, insolent ( disrespectful) , proud braggarts, disobedient to parents, breaking promises, heartless and without pity.
Fully aware of God's death penalty they went ahead and did them and also encouraged others to do them too.
This is what I got from Romans Chapter One.
Now , like me when I read it what do you see of yourself in this?

Double minded?
Hello Beloved,
I am reading a book called : Fervent" by Priscilla Shirer. It goes along with the movie she was in called " War Room".. Great movie! Well as I was reading this evening this is what I took from it.
Just how important is it to be in the Word of God every day? Are you ever tempted by your old self?
Do you ever feel like your prayers go only to the ceiling of the room your praying in? Don't we know that no temptation is harmless? That the consequences are never minimal? That sin does have consequences.
When we are not aligned with the Word of God that would be called disobedience. We should not -expect to receive from the Lord then. In James 1: 7-8 (KJV)
v7." For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord." v.8 " A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." You need to change.
Sin creates separation from God. That is what the enemy is out to do to you..... separate you from God. You can not handle that alone, you need God, Jesus Christ in your life every day. That is why it is important to be in the Word of God everyday.
Christ Jesus bore your sins on the cross. ( 1 Peter2: 24-25 read it) You are to walk in the Spirit ... Galatians 5:16, read these scriptures too... 1 Corinthians 10:13; Ephesians 6:14 .
" But I have prayed for thee , that thy faith fail not: and when thou are converted , strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22: 31-32
We should all be in the Word of God everyday getting ourselves ready for His soon return..
