Part 2: The Case For Christ

Hello Beloved,

Yes, I know I have already been on here once today .... but I just wanted to tell you about something I just read in the book I told you about... " The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel.
It is Chapter 14:
It is an interview with Gary Habermas PH.D, D.D.

He is talking about when his wife passed away of cancer. How was he going to raise 4 children alone? He had students calling him with this " At a time like this, aren't you glad about
the Resurrection?" He says, he smiled for two reasons.. First , his students were trying to
cheer him up and second, it worked.
He states that if God were to come to him, he would ask one question? Lord, why is Debbie up there in bed? and he says back.... I think God would respond by asking me gently, Gary, did I raise my Son from the dead? Finally I got the point...
Resurrection : Jesus was raised from the dead 2000 years ago and if you are dead IN Christ you too will raise from the dead.. Because , If there is a Resurrection , then there is a heaven. I will someday see both, Jesus and Debbie.( I paraphrased some of this to shorten)

If you are going through some grief now because of lost loved one... please take heart in what this man is saying.... Your loved one will rise again too if they died in Christ... WOW !! What a promise.. God is good all the time.... He keeps His promises....
Dear One, Please don't fret so.... just turn everything over to Christ and it will be easier...
Get your Sword ( The Word of God) out and read it everyday, get stronger in Christ Jesus, sit down and have a cup of tea with Him and make it personal...... He is just waiting for you to invite Him over.....

New Book

Hello Beloved,

Well ,we are off to the start of another new day. Thank you ,Lord ,for the breath I have in my body today and for my blood pumping in my veins. It is a cool, wet day with clouds outside but
oh, what a glorious day it is! I am alive and you are alive and that makes it a wonderful day!
I have been reading another new book... I would like to tell y'all about it.
It is called " THE CASE FOR CHRIST" By Lee Strobel
A journalist's Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus.

It is just like the title says.. about a man who is investigating the claims of Jesus to be the Messiah.
It is a good book to read... It has a lot of different questions in it and he has gone to great lengths to get answers from people who have spent their lifetimes on this study. People from all walks of life, and different backgrounds. It is the research done for you...
I am going to tell you about just one part of the book,,, It is the chapter called " The Medical Evidence" I must tell you that it is very descriptive and may just be for you to hard to read, but
please read it anyway.... It was done for you.
The man who is being interviewed is Alexander Metherell, M.D. PH.D

It is really something we should all know... It is hard to read and know that this was done for us...But it sure does say a lot about the LOVE that Jesus has for us too. You owe it to yourself to know first hand what it was like... God Bless.

Something to think about.

Hello Beloved,

Beloved: meaning : dearly loved or dear to the heart.

Have you thought about the times we are in? How things have changed from the time of
your youth? How times have changed in the church? That is what I would like to talk
about now.... Changes in the church.
Did you know that in the military the chaplain's can NOT say the name of Jesus Christ..? Did you know that? We can not pray in schools, the commandments taken from the public view.. all the garbage that is on TV today. It is all part and parcel of the end... ( or at least I think so)
The earth is groaning under the weight of all the evil in this world... Soon , I believe evil will
rear it's ugly head in the form of some man.... Maybe you agree or maybe you do not...
We already have things being put in place or are already in place for a one world money, one world religion, what is next? One world leadership? I think so...
Am I scared of that ? Not scared, nor worried really, but wondering if all of my loved ones
really know what is coming feeling. Do you know that when this leader takes his place that it will soon be that you can NOT buy or trade or sell anything without a mark? NOT this old gal... no sir ... no mark for me.... I pray that people will stand up now before it is to late...
Oh, Lord God in Heaven, I am praying that all those who do NOT know you would come to seek you ... I pray for the lost souls ... I pray that if someone needs to know about you that I would be able to to tell them about you... in Jesus name.. amen
Jesus Christ is coming and He will be here soon..... If you have not put your faith in Him yet, today would be a good time to do so... Jesus Christ IS the first and the last... He died for all of
our sins... No one else has ever offered to do that ..He is COMING back and soon.... Are you ready should He call today?
Dear Jesus , please forgive me of my sins and come into my life that I may learn about you... thank you for the gift of salvation.... In Jesus name.. amen

Hello Beloved,

I sent out an email that said it would be my last time on this blog site, but as I was looking at it
just this A.M. , someone commented on it and I need for her to know that she has made me change my mind.
Bonny, this blog may be just for you and me.... I need to tell you that your words were so
encouraging to me. I was feeling like no one really wanted to hear what I was thinking or learning in my walk with God, then your wonderful comment comes along... Thank you for
reading this blog.
I love my sisters so much, but they have other things to do besides read my ramblings all the time.... but my "new sisters" may just need to hear what I am learning.... so Bonny, this is for you.
You are my Beloved. I love you with all the love that Christ Jesus has put into me...
We are all in this together, each of us struggling with our own personal problems. But we are also suppose to help encourage each other along the way.... You are a beautiful young woman who is trying to make a go at life... I admire you for that and all that you are trying to accomplish with
your sons, work, school , and family.... You just remember Dear One, that you are NEVER alone and you just ask and He will be there with you.... As a matter of fact, I just had a cup of tea with Him this morning. Yes, I sat at my table and had tea with my Lord Jesus.... We talked and I read from His Holy Word and then I came in and saw you beautiful comment..... Yes, you are NEVER alone and He will answer you each and every time.... sometimes it is with silence and sometimes it is with other people..... Thank you for letting Him use you today... long suffering ( patience) , fore bearing one another, forgiving one another( as Christ forgave us)
put on charity ( love) let the peace of God rule in your heart, and be thankful.

When you are so down on yourself, do for you what you do for others, encourage yourself...
Look inside of who you are not at the outside...

learn it by heart! God said you are wonderfully made... He knew you in your mama's womb and even before that! God loves you .

Don't let others tell you how to feel about YOU. They don't like their selves, so they need to make you unhappy too, it's a lie.... You make your own decision about happiness.

Learn to forgive YOU like you so freely forgive others.
God made you for this day not some other time but for this time... That is exciting when you really think about it... He knew you were needed for this time.

This is some things for you to think about when you are feeling down and blue.
YOU are important to GOD. It does not matter what anyone else thinks. Just remember that.

Soon and Very Soon

Well , The Earth is groaning. I think we are in the last few minutes just before birth happen. What in the world is this
woman talking about, your asking. Well ,I am talking about the soon and very soon coming
of the Lord Jesus Christ . Yes, I know we have heard that all of our lives, but I believe it to be
even more true today ....... I am just so excited !!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see Him face to face...
Just since January we have had so many major earthquakes , Hatti, China, South America, and floods, and volcano's erupting different strains of flu's, just lots of different things happening that we can read about in the book of Matthew 24. How many have been deceived about Christ? We have all these wars breaking out , Iraq, Afghanistan, Mexico, drug war here in the United States. What about all the gay movement? Gay preachers? You won't find that in the Word of God. Famines everywhere, yes right here in the U.S.A.! People are hungry everywhere. Look at the way the economy is in the whole world. Look at how people are turning AWAY from God. They have found new love, the garbage kids play in video games, or on t.v , kids not playing outside anymore because they are lazy! Parents not wanting to mess with the kids as it is too much like work, sloppy ownership of homes, and person... I just don't get it. How could a society go down hill so fast? We have a president who is driving our country down the tube and WE are not doing anything to stop him. We have really fell a long way....... BUT! and yes, we always have a but.

There is GOOD NEWS!
Matthew 24:13
" But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
Now that is good news, wouldn't you agree? How are you handling the enduring? I pray that we call all hang on just a little longer, because SOON and VERY SOON I believe we are going to get
to see the King of Glory... Hallelujah! Have you ask someone today if they know Jesus is coming soon? Have you shared what God has done for you in your life? Are you all caught up in the Word of God? I can not think of anything that makes me happier then telling someone about the Love of Christ Jesus... I want to tell the world just what He has done for me... I love Him with all of who I am and just want everyone I know and meet to love Him too.... I am still just a baby in the Word of God but I am learning.... I pray for you each night that you will love Him too.. and share Him with all you know... Here is a little part of a song for you...

Part 2 Mama made the Difference

Hello Beloved,

This is a good book. I wish EVERY new mother had this book to read and learn from..
Wow! I will say again that Mrs. Jakes did a good job.. It talks about lessons and that lesson is the chapter of the book... There are 21 lessons that he writes about.... I won't go into all of them
but I would love it if you got the book and read them.... It is a really good book. It tells us what our Mama Teaches Us.
It talks about how to " Hide" your child... Not like in hide and seek but to protect your child from outside things. It also talks about how to support your child( not in the $ way) but in every way.. how to love ourselves, and how to banish the bitterness, how to set high standards.
Folks, it is a good book and I will get some of these books and start using them as gifts for baby showers and other times too... I really think it is a good book to give to new mothers and mothers who have young children and teens... It has a lot of wisdom in it...

I love words and I know just how important it is to use the right words.... That is something you will see in this book also..... The Power of what you say..... When you use words wisely it makes a huge difference in lives... I know this first hand
I would hope that you would try to find this book to read ... It is called " MAMA MADE THE DIFFERENCE" by T. D. Jakes.. It is a good book... Please find out for yourself what it says to you....

Words

Hello Beloved,

Did you know that words can hurt or they can heal. They can make someone feel good about
themselves or they can destroy someone... I know first hand just how bad words can hurt...
but today I want to use words that make you feel good.... Words to encourage you...
Someone did that for me today ... they wrote words that made my day!

I would like to encourage you with these words today...

John 3:16 ( my favorite verse in the Bible)

" For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son,
that WHOSOEVER believes in Him will have EVERLASTING life."
whosoever is ME and YOU. Everlasting ( FOREVER)
Now that should encourage you and light your heart and soul up. It sure does mine..
Today I got to meet someone who has used words to encourage ALL of us at one time or
another... His name is Steve Richardson, and he is the one who wrote the words to the song
called " Day star".. What a warm and unassuming man he was.... He has a very nice sister too...
I tell you this so I can say that..... in this mans song he used words to encourage himself and us..
That is what I would like to do... tell you that with words , Someone loves you so much that
He died for you... His name is Jesus Christ. He is the Day Star, and the Lily of the Valley, He is our Rock, our Sword, our Shield, He is my EVERYTHING!!!!!! I hope that He is yours...

I love you and I know that Christ our Savior loves you.... I hope that you can love you too..

YOUR Choice

HE HAS RISEN!!!

Well today is Easter Sunday.. I hope you all went and had a great service in your church this
morning... Christ Jesus has arose from the grave.. Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!!!
After we came home from church we had the t.v. on and I was listening to Dr. Charles Stanley.
He said so many good things but one thing he was talking about is the one I want to talk about
today on here.... I had NEVER thought about it before...

Matthew 22:42( KJV)
I will set the scene, Jesus and the disciples had just had the Passover supper and he had told
them of the betrayal of Judas and told Peter he would deny Him 3 times. and then they went
up to pray in the garden. He told them to pray that they enter not into temptation. Jesus then went and withdrew from them and he knelt down and prayed.
v. 42
" Saying, Father , if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will,
but thine be done."
now the first part of this verse is remove this cup from me...
I am going to try and tell you the way I heard it from Charles Stanley. I will try ... just remember that part ok?
Jesus paid the ultimate debt price on the cross.... Do you know what it is? ( I will admit that I did
not think of it like this)
Jesus died on the cross yes, He did.. But do you know what it cost Him? ( again I will admit that I had not thought of this either)
Charles Stanley was talking about eternity when he raised these questions... I was not even thinking like this man... but I want to tell you that I will study it and think on it now....
Dr. Stanley said.
That in the garden when Jesus prayed his prayer asking that this cup be passed from me... He was talking about the separation from God the Father. Christ Jesus died for ALL of our sins,, we have heard that many times but I had never heard this one before.... He died for EVEN the ones who would NOT accept Him.... Now , tell me true , had you ever heard that before or thought of it? I sure had not.....
How did He pay for their sins? When Jesus died He took ALL our sins ( hard to image that isn't it) and when I say ALL I mean ALL even the ones who would not accept Him... He was SEPARATED from His Father in Heaven.... When someone dies without Jesus in their heart they are then dead and separated from Him forever.... That is so sad....
Why would you not want to have Jesus in your heart and live for Him and with Him? I don't get it.. I pray that I will be able to make heaven my home.... ETERNITY is forever and forever...
When you are born , you WILL live FOREVER.. It is just a matter of where... Heaven or Hell?
The choice is yours.. I pray that you will choose to live forever in eternity with God our Father...
unbelief is unpardonable. What will you chose today ? A relationship with Christ Jesus or one with the world?

He is Risen

Hello Beloved,

Today is Good Friday. It has been a beautiful day out today, warm and breezy and partly sunny. It has been a day of peace for me... I started the day off with a Bible study and then
my grandson came by and we had lunch and went to the playground and played... It was a good time for both of us. When he left to go home I got online to check emails.... and I got one from
a friend who was going through some blues because of a lost loved one... Holidays are easy to
loose ones self in..
So it set me to thinking about today and what is meant to me...

Good Friday is the day that our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ was hung on a cross... Now one needs to get a real picture of how he looked on that cross. Are you ready? I hope I don't leave
anything out but if I do just remember Christ did NOT look like the pictures we see .
Now Jesus was taken from the Garden and hauled off to the High Priest.. He was spit on and was smacked around and pushed and shoved and had a crown of thrones placed on His head and he was whipped over and over. He was beaten and bruised and bloodied for YOU and ME!
They gave Him vinegar mixed with gall to drink, parted His garments, They put NAILS through His hands and feet and raised a wooden cross with Him on it and shoved it down in the ground... and they continued to torment Him with comments... NOW folks He did ALL that for YOU and ME! He even asked His Father to forgive them...... Now do you have a picture of what Christ Jesus looked like yet in your mind?/ He was torn all up and bloodied and bruised and hanging
on a cross! What had He ever done to deserve all that ?: NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! You and I sure did though.... How Christ Jesus loved us.... He loved us.... just loved us... Now he was put in the
tomb and when they went back to finish the burial treatment . HE WAS NOT THERE!!!

HE HAD RISEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, RISEN!!!!!! It was three days that he was in that tomb...
Christ Jesus had indeed RISEN from the DEAD. He did that so YOU and I would not have to
suffer death the way He did... You see when Jesus died , he did so for ALL who will believe on Him..... Yes, love ones who have accepted Christ Jesus into their hearts and lives may have
died in the physical but they did NOT go down to Hell... They are with the ONE who saved them on that cross ,oh, so many years ago........ So, when Jesus arose from the dead so did your loved ones when they died.... II Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Now that is the HOPE we all should have.... Hope of Eternal Salvation.... Jesus Christ died for our sins and He paid the price of death so YOU and I would not have too.... Thank you Lord Jesus
for the Blood that was shed at the Cross of Calvary for my sins..... You are My God and Savior...
I love you , Lord Jesus with all that I am....

So if you are lost and feeling blue for any reason Please remember that this is the Season to Celebrate the RISEN CHRIST!!! IF you have not accepted Jesus into your heart this would be
a beautiful time to do so... It is really easy...
All you need to do is ask Him to come in.... He will not barge in but will walk in if you ask...

Dear Lord Jesus,
would you please forgive me of all my wrongs and sins? Would you please wash me with the Blood of Calvary and come live in my heart... I love you Jesus and I am sorry . Thank you for what you have already done for me..... In Jesus name .. Amen..
Now if you have said that prayer or one like it WELCOME!!!!!! I love getting new brothers and sisters in Christ... Now you need to find a good Bible believing church that loves the Lord with all their hearts and loves to Praise and Worship Him .... and when you have time drop me a line and let me know how you are doing... Mama Made The Difference

Hello Beloved,

Remember I told you I had been busy reading? Well, I am now reading a book by T.D. Jakes
called Mama Made The Difference.. Life Lessons My Mother Taught Me.
I have just started the book but some of the things I have read I thought would be good to pass on.
In the beginning of the book it talks about how his mama had instilled in him an appreciation of
information and knowledge and wisdom; and how we are to become who He created us to be...
What a wise mama Mr. Jakes had. It goes on and says that women should NOT have to apologize for being mothers..( Some mothers are very fortunate and can stay at home, how Blessed!) If you are being called to be a mother, you can expect to make sacrifices. How many of us can recall the sacrifices our mama's made for us? My mama is gone now, but mama if you can hear me , thank you. I am saying don't take your mama for granted....
He asks a question , what makes for these timeless qualities of a mother? He says he believes it is the heart... the tenderness and toughness, the compassion and conscientiousness of the heart.... WOW! Is this making sense to you ? I can look back on my own mom and think of all the wonderful lessons of life she taught me... I miss you, mama...
Can I make a suggestion?
If your mom is alive and you haven't seen her for a time... Would you make time and go and see her before you no longer have her? Would you love on her and tell her thank you for the lessons
she has taught you? Maybe you didn't always get along, who cares about that now.... Today is a time of forgiveness.. Please , don't let another day go by in which you don't seek her out...
enjoy her, love her, and let her see some of the things she taught you...... Mama's are usually
the first person we know and fall in love with... Will you fall in love with her again today?
What did you learn about God from your mother? How would you describe your belief in God
at this point in your journey? What do you wish you could ask your mother about her relationship with God?
This is just the first chapter of this book... I will write more about it...
I am going to pray for you all today...
Dear Lord , I pray that each one who reads these words will know that the mom they
have is the exact one you wanted for them and the lessons that she taught is what they
need for the journey they are to take.... I pray Father,, that they would go and tell her how much they love her.... Thank you Father for my mama Nellie, she was just exactly who I needed
to help me in my journey of life... Father, thank you for all the moms and the lessons of life she has taught us.. In Jesus name Amen.
